For the past few weeks Cole has been best friends with an imaginary monster which her cleverly named "Stinky Foot"
Stinky Foot is very small-we know this because Cole carries him around in the palm of his hand and sometimes puts him in his pocket.
He has yellow fur and eats only Broccoli and Noodles
Cole proudly showed his preschool teachers last week and said that he plays with him and his friends outside at preschool as well.
Well today on our way home from preschool Cole mentioned that Stinky Foot was not at home and that he was living in the tree by the "red school" (FYI-that is the elementary school about a block from our house). So Brett tried to play along and tell him that he came back home-yeah that didn't work and Cole started getting pretty upset about it. So Brett offered to stop by the school later in the day on our way out again. Poor Cole was distraught about his little monster friend not being and home with him.... So I felt so bad that I walked him all the way to the school and as we passed tree after tree after tree we finally came to the one that Stinky Foot was in-we had to call him down the tree low enough for Cole to grab him and bring him home again. When we got home Cole and his monster washed their hands because as Cole said "Stinky Foot has dirty hands because he was in that tree today."

seriously that is the cutest thing ever. I always wished my kids would have imaginary friends! Brooke had one growing up and they have such funny stories.
