Night Out

Brett and I met some friends for dinner last Sunday night, it was LOOONNNNGGG over due! We ate at a super cute restaurant in Sac (Bandera) if you know it I am sure you know how yummy it was :) Our friends love it too, I am glad we went, and that we got out of the normal routine of going to places we know in the Roseville area. We Love Date Nights, mostly because we love spending time together and having an actual conversation....this no longer happens most days because of his work schedule, my school schedule and the fact that we have three kids who compete for our attention every second they are awake ;) I was pretty excited to wear heels, make-up and actually have washed hair, I am not always the girliest girl but when it has been a solid two weeks of nothing but hats and/or pony tails, work out clothes and zero make-up I get a little self-esteem boost when I look in the mirror and don't think "wow, I really need to tweeze my eye brows", or "I guess I am putting on a hat today, again, because there is just no time for a shower this morning!" or, "oh, NO I have no more sweat shirts and work out pants clean....I'll just grab these to take Cole to school, they're not THAT dirty"(don't judge me, you know you've been there too). Apparently being a parent is a lot of work???? I must have missed that memo.....
