Brady's First Day of Preschool

Tuesday was Brady's First Day at Loomis Community Preschool! It's a little co-op preschool in Loomis that has been there forever and is so cute! LCP is a play-centered preschool and they are allow a lot of creativity and let the kids take charge of what they want to explore while outside. So yes, there is water available for them to fill cups/the water table/sand box etc. As most of you know Brady is a bit of a dirt ball so he didn't hesitate to get into the water and make a sand bath for a few of the dinosaur toys he was playing with.
He was overwhelmed by the bike assortment and spent about 20 seconds on each one :)
This is him running toward the playground for the fist time, I think he was a little excited
The bathroom story: When we arrived Brady's teacher greeted us and showed Brady to his little cubby and let him to where they find their name tags. I stayed with him today even though I wasn't technically a working parent. I knew he would be fine but I wanted him to know that I was there for him on his special day just in case he needed anything. So after tagging along with him to complete his art project, plant some seeds, and eat snack I decided to back off and let him do the next few jobs without me by his side. I just sat in an inconspicuous chair and chatted with the other moms. Brady disappeared for a few minutes so I went to look for him....Found the kid taking a poo in the bathroom!!! I tried so hard not to laugh, I don't think Cole has EVER gone poo at school, and I am positive that I never did that either!! Gotta love the kids' confidence, he announced as I approached the bathroom "mommy, I'm going poo poo! I will be right back!" That boy is too much, I never quite know what he's going to do or say
proudly making me a painting at the easel
Officially a preschooler and loving every second!!!
