On Our Way To San Antonio Texas

We left for our big trip to see Daddy on Wednesday 5-26! Once Brett's mom dropped us off, checked in one huge bag, two car seats, and one smaller bag the boys and I were on our way up to security....Where nobody apparently told Brady that he'd have to surrender his fav. blanket to walk through the metal detector, WOW that was a colorful moment in the airport! Cole was such a little man with his Thomas the Train suit case he pulled himself- he even tried to calm Brady down by explaining that all our stuff is coming out on the other end of security. Once we were at the gate me and the boys grabbed a super nutritious dinner from Burger King-then watched the air planes land/take off until we were on board.
The looks I got from people were priceless! If you want people to judge you just walk around with two toddlers carrying blankies and chocolate milks while pushing a stroller full of fast food bags and being 7 months pregnant to top it off! I was in my comfy sweats and so were the kids so we did look a little trashy. I could read their facial expressions and see that they were thinking "someone give this girl some birth control and a lesson on how to properly feed her kids!!"
We landed in Vegas and had to switch planes-on the way down Cole was asking about the big buildings (the Vegas Strip) and wondered if I'd been there before. When I said yes, he asked "what do people just do in Las Vegas?" HMMMM...how to answer that one to a 4 year old????
Once on our 2nd flight from Vegas to San Antonio Cole was asleep and so Brady kept busy watching many episodes of Dora on his DVD player.

They were sooo well behaved on the plane I was proud to accept the compliments everyone kept giving them for being so good for their age and it being so late at night. Once in Texas we took a bus to rent our car then headed to catch a few hours of sleep before heading to the AFB to see Brett for the first time in 9 weeks!
