Driving Across America Part Two

 we spent two nights with the Patenaude Family!  It was far too short but luckily we are much closer now and will be back very soon for more Chicago fun!

On the road again....

And we made it "home"!!!  If you spoke to me before our trip I am sure you heard an ear-full about how much I was dreading this trip...I hate long car trips so you can imagine how I felt about this one.  Well I am happy to say that I have been proven wrong!  My husband deserves a lavish vacation for his hard work....we began every drive day at 2am and did about 12 hours.  He drove the first 5 hours each time with a car full of sleeping people. 

Our kids just amazed us!  They were all perfect!  I am not exaggerating...they were totally fine and happy to eat junk food and watch DVD's and play with car toys!  Ruger did great too!  We were like 6 happy sardines crammed into one little car :) 

I am not saying I want to ever do it again, ever, but it really was not bad at all.
